There are so many comments I can make about this video, but I will just let it speak for itself. As a disclaimer, however, I would like to say that I do love Ellen & her show. She's hilarious & very entertaining. Obviously I don't agree with her lifestyle, but she is still funny. Having said that, I can't help but laugh at her a little when watching this!
I saw her show yesterday, but totally missed the first few minutes! I guess that will teach me to not turn it on in time. Minutes after the show was over, there were tons of news reports about Ellen crying. I kept expecting her to turn it into a joke b/c it was so out of character for her.
ReplyDeleteShe seems to emotionally distraught over this. You have to be very careful when adopting from rescue groups, because many have strict, tight rules. Didn't suprise me a bit that they did what they did. Somewhat embarassing that she didn't read the contract clearly, to me. I hate it for the group, because now the animals they need to place will suffer from people boycotting their rescue.
ReplyDeleteUmm, she needs to chill. If she wants them to have a dog that bad, she should scrape some pennies together and buy them one. I know that might be tough on a talk show host's salary, but maybe with a little time...
ReplyDeleteProbably Ellen's sobbing and the pressure from her viewers will convince the organization to throw out the rules in her case. But that "I was just trying to be a good person and help people laugh and dance" routine is not going to work when she tries to explain to God why she thought his rules were a joke.
