leftover vases & baby frame

A couple of months ago, I was watching Trash to Treasure on HGTV. They said something about leftover florist vases and it caught my attention because I have a LOT of them. They spraypainted the vases, and turned them over to make them into candle holders. So I decided to do my version of the project, plus a little lamb figurine I've had, that didn't have a home:

The other day I was at Storkland looking for a baby gift for my friend & neighbor, Tara. I saw these cute baby frames, but they were priced a lot higher than I was willing to pay. Then it occurred to me...hey - I can make one of those! So I did:

  1. What type of spray paint did you use? I've tried doing some similar before, but it just peeled off! Is there special glass spray paint?

  2. Those vases are too cute! I have a box full of vases (I don't know why I can't just get rid of them) that I didn't know what to do with. Now, I have a project! I'm wondering about the type of paint too.

  3. Spray paint:
Robin's Egg by Design Master, with Plaid Hi-Shine glaze
    Glossy White by Design Master

I did 2 or 3 coats on each vase. So far it hasn't peeled off...so we'll see!

  4. Those vases look awesome! Oh, and I noticed you're reading the Twilight series again. I was at the library today and almost picked up Twilight, so I could start reading them again, but I controlled myself and left without it. I know if I start reading them again, I won't get much sleep.
