a real vacation

Ok, so you know how sometimes you go on vacation, only to come back more tired than you were before you left because you tried to cram so many activities into your trip? Well, our family vacation at Vogel State Park each summer is NOT one of those vacations. This is the kind of break everyone needs at least once a year. Actually, I'd like to have one at least once a month. It's so relaxing...there's no TV, no telephone...just a cabin, the family, LOTS of food, playing games, and spending time admiring God's wonderful creation. I have two favorite places I've ever been, and this is one of them. Here are a few pics from our trip...

  2. We have never been in the fall, but my grandmother has. It really is beautiful! We love it! Oh and yeah I get bored with my blog templates so I have to change them a lot. Since I can't really rearrange the furniture in my house, I change my blog & myspace. :-)

  6. Wow! What a mature blog post! I wish your grandaddy was alive to see your bloop about Vogel. O.K., we would have to show him but he would really like it. It would not be the same on myspace, however, with "smelly cat" wailin' in the background!
