That's funny! Yeah, I'm dumb, I didn't see it until I read Jon's comment. Ha, ha! Although formally is definitely the wrong word, isn't that how we pronounce formerly here in the south? Think about it. Well, it's how my southern accent pronounces it.
I love what Amanda's comment actually says, and then how she wrote "loose." It's definitely "lose." Oh, and "mispelled" is actually "misspelled." I'm sorry if I'm being a grammar snob, I just had to comment because it made me laugh.
I must be a moron, I don't see the typo (and I was a copy editor for 2 years!).
ReplyDeleteHELP!

ReplyDeleteHaha, you're right Kara - we do say it like that! Maybe the ad was called in, and the person who typed it just typed it like they heard it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for clearing it up, Jon! :-)
Ah! Yes! See, I was looking for a mispelled word! Ge'ez, I need to get back into copy editing before I loose everything!
ReplyDeleteha!
ReplyDeleteIt is not a casual school.

ReplyDeleteHaha, Kara - I hadn't even read the last few comments yet so I didn't see that till just now! Funny.
ReplyDeleteYES! I also like the sign on the school on Narrow Lane that says "Now registering for kindargarden". Let me sign my kids up for that one!
